The Change Framework

Overcome Fear of Public Speaking with The CANINE Method in North Orange County 714 & Gateway Cities 562

“Your dog is your CANINE training partner and will accelerate skill acquisition, resilience, and adaptive communication:
Speaking is the skill.”

PUBLIC SPEAKING WITH ANIMAL-ASSISTED EMOTIONAL REGULATION.

Become a Confident, Compelling Speaker, With Your Dog as Your Co-Regulator and speaking partner.

There are a lot of public-speaking programs out there, but this is a little different. Sure, we go over technique, but more important is conditioning the emotional system that is the foundation of performance.

The C.A.N.I.N.E. Method Framework

  • C — Change Strategies
  • A — Acceptance & Adaptability
  • N — Narrative Design
  • I — Instructional Design
  • N — Neuro-Behavioral Communication
  • E — Emotional Homeostasis

This 8-week pilot course uses your dog to help regulate stress, expand your comfort zone, as well as speak with purpose and presence.

It’s a personal-growth and communication course that uses your dog as a social bridge and emotional anchor.

WHY THIS WORKS

  1. You Learn Inside Your Optimal Emotional Range (Emotional Homeostasis)

Your dog helps you stay grounded while you practice.
As your speaking challenges increase, you and your dog learn reset techniques that restore balance. Developing emotional regulation allows you to continue performing without being overwhelmed.

  1. You Train Three Memory Systems at Once

Semantic Memory – Speech patterns, word choice, frameworks, narrative structure
Procedural Memory – Speaking while moving, voice rhythm, attention under load
Episodic Memory – Storytelling: anchoring your message in meaningful experiences

This integrated approach builds integrity and automaticity.

  1. You Build Skills Using Behavioral Science

Rooted in BF Skinner’s learning theory, the program uses shaping, reinforcement, and environment-supported behavior change to build reliable, repeatable speaking habits.
